Four children from a circus family are suddenly faced with a new life. Their world changes when they have to go to school, among ‘ordinary’ children. They are not used to that: they come from a traveling circus where everything revolves around spectacle, music, and adventure. In three separate but connected stories, Bekka, Riet, Sjaal, and Loon each tell their own version of what happened. What happened to the circus? Why did the elephant disappear? And how do you tell a story if everyone experienced something different? Where is the elephant? (4+), What did I hear last night? (6+), and Who did it? (8+) are three musical and visual performances that you can see separately, or together as one larger whole. Each part shows a different perspective on the same world full of confusion, fantasy, and change. The theater becomes their classroom: the audience sits not only in the hall but also close to the performers, between school desks and scenes. This creates an intimate experience in which juggling, music, and acting happen right in front of your nose. Meanwhile, a playful side program is running in the foyer where visitors can step into the circus themselves. While one group watches, the other can play, discover, and create. An adventurous mini-festival about growing up, adapting, and finding your place in a new world full of humor, music, and imagination. Schedule 2:00 p.m. - Where is the elephant?
