Theater: The Memory of Water

Three sisters come together in their parental home on the eve of their mother’s funeral. For a long time, they are under one roof again, which leads to sharp but also comical confrontations and dialogues. Around mother’s bed, the daughters fight for their own place in the family memories, but they also struggle with the expectations and ghosts of the past. Each deals with the grief in their own way, by suppressing it or hiding behind the drink. They find out that the memories of their mother are distorted and many of them are hijacked by their sisters. While their partners also pass in review, another big secret from the past comes to light.
