Voor Families selected FOMU family photos from the collection that show how images preserve, pass on, and rewrite stories. The exhibition brings together historical photo albums with work by contemporary artists who question the classic family image. They show the layering of family relationships, including the tensions and silences that often remain out of the picture. Through intimate and sometimes confrontational photos, a dialogue arises between past and present.
