Free guided teacher tour (secondary education)

Get inspired by the three municipal museums of Hasselt and (re)discover how our museums can surprise your students. Our guides are happy to take you through the exhibitions in the Stadsmus, Modemuseum Hasselt and the Jenevermuseum, and tell you more about the tours tailored to your students. Therefore, choose a tour with a focus on primary education or secondary education. Program on Saturday, June 20: 11 am: Primary education: Modemuseum Hasselt Secondary education: Stadsmus 1:30 pm: Secondary education: Modemuseum Hasselt Primary education: Stadsmus 3 pm: Secondary education: Jenevermuseum What can you expect in the Jenevermuseum? During a tour tailored to your students, you will discover the Jenevermuseum together with an experienced museum guide. The tour starts from concrete learning objectives and links them to various aspects of the museum and the exhibition . For example, the production process of alcohol, historical promotional material, social image formation, and prevention regarding alcohol use are discussed. In addition, we also give a short insight into our interactive workshops ( A shot full of science and Alcohol and such ), in which students actively work on science, use, and impact of alcohol. We conclude with a nice extra: you will return home with a wealth of new information about the operation of the Jenevermuseum, the Modemuseum Hasselt and the Stadsmus, our exhibitions and the school offer, and with some nice goodies !
