De Vader

After the once-so-sparkling André has chased away his last home nurse, his daughter Anne sees no other way out than to take her dementing father into her home. Caring for André puts the relationship between parent and child under high tension. What follows is a confusing maze in which truth and fiction become increasingly difficult to distinguish from each other. 'De Vader' is a psychological drama that takes an intimate look at the crumbling reality of a man with dementia. An intriguing family portrait in which the limits of 'loving' and 'unconditional love' are pushed to their extreme. How do you communicate with someone who experiences a different reality?
