Emilie Mover & John Snauwaert

Emilie Mover was born in Montreal and grew up in Toronto. As the daughter of jazz saxophonist Bob Mover she came into contact with different music genres at a young age. She started singing professionally with her father at the age of thirteen. After spending time in New York City, Mover returned to Toronto, where she started composing with guitar and singing her own material. She has released a number of solo albums in different styles. John Snauwaert. Although he is primarily a jazz musician, Snauwaert continues to look for contacts with other cultures: Petar Elmazof from Bulgaria, Chergio de Susa from Cuba and his compatriot from the Buena Vista Club Pipo Fernandes, Emre Kuzuoglu from Turkey, Mahbub Khan from India… He also shared the stage with jazz greats such as Lowen Fulson, Isaac Hurley, Jacques Pelzer, Bob Mover, Gary Smulyan, Nilson Matta, Roni Ben-Hur …As a composer and musician he worked for the KVS, the Muziek Lod, De Werf, Victoria, De vieze gasten and circus Picolini and he also wrote music for animated films.
