Terrace concert - Willie Jacob and the Velvet Cat

On Sunday, 12.07.’26, ’t Uilekot will host the band ‘Willie Jacob and the Velvet Cat’ on the terrace. This band originated in an attic room in Lede and grew into a five-piece force in the Denderland and Flemish rock scene. With influences from The Beatles, blues heroes, and experimental artists from the '60s and '70s, they bring a raw, honest mix of energy, musicality, and character. They always play with a full load of passion, where desire and feeling are central, but whoever really wants to understand WJVC must experience them live. On stage, everything they do comes together; it lives, breathes, and grates, exactly as rock and blues should be. Concert duration : +-90 minutes. Free admission , voluntary contribution welcome. Drinks and snacks available at the bar. Café open from 4 PM to 11 PM. In case of rain, the concert will take place in the tent or the café itself. This is an activity in the context of the project ‘Much begins with listening’.
