We call it: ‘De Voorlaatste Afscheidstournee.’ Not only because it's good for ticket sales, but also because it offers an optimistic perspective on the future. De Dolfijntjes retreated during the hot summer of 2025 to Loge 5 of Muziekcentrum Track in Kortrijk and shook some new poetic masterpieces out of their tail fin, such as: Marche en Famenne, Annie Eet Gezond, Tous Les Dimanches, O Land, Django, Mie en Gie … but vintage Dolfijntjes sing-alongs like Geofrey, Kom toch were, Monique, Verre Rien, Prière, Wit Konin, Stop de bus, Margrietje and many, many others remain on the playlist. Still just as funky, De Dolfijntjes preach the love for the absurd universe as always. Make sure you are there for the penultimate time! The pleasantly disturbed, surreal, eclectic, kaleidoscopic ensemble De Dolfijntjes consists of Wim Opbrouck, Wim Willaert, Luc Byttebier, Marc Holvoet and Dick Vanhoegaerden, reinforced with fresh virtuosos Yves Fernandez (trumpet), Marc De Maeseneer (saxophone) and Hannes Pype (guitar). support: bvba Vandamme. From the south of West Flanders, bvba Vandamme brings music from the gut, in everyday language. Mandolinist, singer, and lyricist Sam Vandamme writes unadorned, artless, honest, and of the people. Together with Wannes Vandewiele (violin), Thomas Camerlynck (double bass), Jozef Vanhaecke (guitar) and Stijn Oyaert (accordion), a sound is created that is simultaneously simple and refined, intimate and exuberant — music that lives in the moment and of which the audience is inevitably a part.
