Celebrate eight centuries of Brussels history. In 2026, the Cathedral of Saints Michael and Gudula reaches a historic milestone: 800 years of majestic presence in the heart of Brussels. On this occasion, Bruxelles Bavard is organizing an 80-minute tour to cross 8 centuries of history. You will discover the building from every angle: the secrets of the Brabantine Gothic architecture of its facade, the history told by its stained glass windows, the biblical episodes illustrated by sculptures, the pilgrimage dedicated to Saint Gudula, its elevation to the rank of cathedral in 1961... This tour is organized as part of the Gudula 2026 jubilee year.
