On Sunday, July 19, 2026, the village of Torgny, nicknamed "the Belgian Petite Provence", will host the 35th edition of its famous Foire Artisanale. This unmissable summer event in Gaume will bring together more than 130 artisans and creators who have come to share their expertise in an exceptional setting.
Throughout the day, starting at 10:00 AM, visitors will be able to stroll through the picturesque alleys of the village and discover a wide variety of artisanal products: decorative objects, original creations, local products, and much more. The fair makes it a point of honor to promote local craftsmanship and the quality of the products.
The event will also offer a program rich in entertainment for all ages:
– Concerts on the square with Oldies Rock, The Thonne’s, Days of Samara, Rouvroy Music School, Ludvine and Julia
– Street entertainment: barrel organ, Liège puppet theater, Lux Friday Jazz…
– Mini farm and exhibition of antique tractors
– New kids' area with activities for children
– Bars and catering all day long
These activities will punctuate the day in a festive and family atmosphere.
New for 2026: a Espace Kids specially dedicated to children will make its appearance, including a face painting stand and collage activities, to the delight of the youngest.
A light catering area will also be provided with crepes and croque-monsieurs, for the enjoyment of the whole family.
Also note the presence of Jean-Luc Geoffroy – Ma p’tite Édition, who will offer the sale and signing of his books, among others, Asterix in the Gaumais dialect.
Bars and catering points will be accessible throughout the day, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the event in a friendly atmosphere.
Admission is free!
A shuttle will be set up between Lamorteau and Torgny (€2 round trip, free for children under 12), facilitating access to the fair.
Organized by the Office du Tourisme de Torgny non-profit organization, this craft fair establishes itself, year after year, as an unmissable summer event, combining discovery, tradition, and conviviality.
