Is violence justified and if so, to what extent? Those questions, those issues. Vintage Dostojevski, vintage LAZARUS. The Idiot, Karamazov, Crime and Punishment… De Lazari have become true Dostoevsky specialists over the years. As a final piece in the adaptation of his four great novels, LAZARUS started working with Boze Geesten, by far the most political of the four. The story takes place in a small, wealthy community in the countryside, where the peace is disturbed when the young generation wants to unleash a revolution out of dissatisfaction. Their approach is reckless and destructive, without a concrete plan for the future.
