THERE THERE Company - Hugs & Handshakes

Hugs & Handshakes is an acrobatic choreography in which everyday touches are the starting point. This performance revolves around handshakes and hugs. What happens when you let five partner acrobats interact with each other and the audience? Every duet, every group choreography starts from those simple touches: a handshake, a pat on the shoulder, a hug... and at times reaches spectacular acrobatic heights. The audience is invited to join in. This blurs the boundaries between performers and audience. We are going high up. Without extra hands, that wouldn't have worked. A small group of local participants follows a partner acrobatics workshop, and that same evening, the audience takes their place in the circle on stage. This performance is suitable for everyone aged 9 and up.
