Kelly and the pit - Abattoir Fermé

Kelly finds a pit. That pit wasn't there at first, and then suddenly it was. It is so deep that no one knows if it ever ends. En Kelly? She stumbles right into it. What she finds below is everything that was once hidden deep away: Bompapa and Moemoe, a moon goddess named Selene, and all the way at the bottom in the heat of the pit, that is where the Rode Man lives. He knows things: about fallen angels, underground parties, dark desires, and a shameful past... Kelly and the pit is a swampy descent into the subconscious with only one goal: to crawl back up, if that is still possible. This new creation by Abattoir Fermé will be a fairy tale for adults, a magical-dark puppet show played by Abattoir players Tine Van den Wyngaert, Kirsten Pieters, and Steve Geerts with guest actress Iris Becher. Almost without text, but with voice-over from the depths and a hypnotic musical score from the hat of house composer Kreng. Abattoir Fermé is a fixture within the CCHA program. They have been here in recent years with De Kersenvla (2021), Hotel Poseidon (2021), GLITCH (2023), and Alles gaat kapot (2025). We are only too happy to dive back into the weird universe of this theater company.
