Film: Pressure

De Britse meteorologist captain James Stagg faces a daunting task: within 72 hours it is D-Day and he must predict whether the weather will or will not make the existing plans possible. The fate of the free world is at stake and choices must be made that can completely change the course of history. Stagg wants to convince the Allies, led by American General Eisenhower, to adjust their D-Day plans. A heavy responsibility, because a wrong strategy can mean the loss of the entire war. "No major battles or flying bullets, but conversations, doubt and a decision on which thousands of lives depend. Yet Maras sometimes manages to create more tension than other war films with a complete battlefield.”
