"Human Geography" Exhibition – Baudoin Lotin and Daniel Boreux
Two photographers. Two journeys. Two sensibilities.
And yet, a shared need: to observe the human experience.
For over fifty years, Baudoin Lotin has traveled the world with a camera, seemingly seeking out human encounters rather than specific events. His images focus on gestures, faces, bodies, silences, and the ordinary scenes that—better than any long-winded explanation—tell the stories of men and women. It is a deeply human, attentive, and committed form of photography, where the distance between the observer and the observed tends to vanish.
Daniel Boreux is a general practitioner and... a photographer.
He, too, photographs the human experience, but with a more intimate and contemplative approach.
His images often seem to capture things in their primal simplicity: a body, a presence, a posture, a fragment of life. His gaze rests quietly, paying special attention to what might easily go unnoticed.
Their photographs do not tell the same stories.
They are not taken from the same vantage point.
But they look in the same direction.
Exhibition from October 1 to November 29.
Opening reception: October 1, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
