53rd Paulus Festival

From August 11 to 17, 2026 , Ostend will once again be entirely dedicated to the 53ste Paulusfeesten , one of the oldest free city festivals in the country. The program includes Preuteleute, Absynthe Minded, Jebroer, DiMaro, Rick de Leeuw, Paul Michiels, Funeral Dress and many other artists who guarantee a week full of music, street theater, and unforgettable moments. De Paulusfeesten are a leading city festival with strong roots in Ostend. The event has a rich tradition dating back to the early seventies. What started in 1972 as a folkloric folk festival has grown into a vibrant seven-day music and street theater festival that brings together thousands of visitors annually . For this 53rd edition, we have once again put together a varied and surprising program with a unique mix of stage acts, street theater, music, animation, and atmosphere. As always, meeting people is central, and we provide a festival where young and old can enjoy culture, music, and entertainment for free in a warm, authentic atmosphere.
