A documentary by Kita Bauchet (2026, 80')
A screening organized as part of the Mois du Doc
Bandes of hysterics recounts the little-known history of women's emancipation movements in the 70s in Belgium. Through, in particular, the impertinent actions of the Dolle Mina in Flanders, the support for the female workers of the Marie Mineur in Wallonia or the International Tribunal of Crimes against Women which brings together in Brussels 2,000 women from all over the world, our female heritage is sketched out with humor and insolence.
