The Neighborhood Kids

The Neighborhood Kids is a committed hip-hop trio from San Diego (CA) known for energetic live shows, spicy lyrics, and a distinct, activist message. Verde, Amon the MC, and DJ JG combine combative lyrics with an infectious mix of hip-hop, punk, and soul. Their style balances between classic hip-hop influences and a fresh, contemporary energy, with solid beats and an intense delivery as the core. Their song Kids in Cages, about American migration policy, went viral and put them on the map internationally. The group has already been on stage with artists such as Tom Morello, Macklemore, and Immortal Technique, and built a reputation as a live act that always and everywhere continues to resonate. Their mission is clear: to use hip-hop as a lever for connection, awareness, and change. They focus on communities and young people who strive for more justice and give a voice to those who feel unheard. Currently, they are on tour with their latest album The Voice of the Revolution.
