Discover how two friends joined forces to restore an old watermill…
Two twenty-somethings with a passion for heritage and technology bought an old farm with a watermill. They are restoring the site with heart and soul, and above all with a lot of love for the heritage. You can follow a guided tour through the watermill where the millers explain to you how grain can be ground. You can also see the mill in action while it generates electricity. Over the past year, hard work has also been done to restore the boiler house and the old baking oven. Come take a peek in the bakehouse and take a fresh oven cookie home with you! In the courtyard of the mill, you can also, as usual, have a drink or eat a pancake.
Accessibility:
The location is unfortunately less accessible for wheelchair users due to the large relief and the many small passages with steps. The courtyard, the baking oven, and the ground floor of the mill are, however, easily accessible.
