Snerp, a backwater in the, at first sight, quiet Kempen, is getting ready for the 7-year and 2-monthly re-enactment of their own adventures. The self-proclaimed Raad der Wijzen has the important task of determining which events are suitable for this spectacle in a village where local traditions, café wisdom, and village idiots firmly rule the roost. Follow the chaotic and hilarious voting from the front row in Paulette's café and enjoy a wild ride over the winding country roads along the Erp, in the squad car of “cops” Loes and Linda, past processions with relics of the Heilige Ontkommer and prying eyes behind curtains all the way to the cave of the shadow of the smell of the foot of Jesus.
