And all that on and around the Markt van Zottegem and the Dekenale Kerk on Thursday, July 9. 5 PM – Carillon concert On July 9, you will hear work by Flemish masters, original carillon works, and contemporary classics. Everyone is welcome at the tower of the deanery church. 8 PM – Aaron Blommaert Energy, talent, and charisma in one young artist: Aaron Blommaert is the rising star of Flemish show business. With his fresh appearance, warm voice, and infectious personality, he is rapidly conquering the hearts of young and old alike. Known from television, loved for his music, and praised for his live performances. Aaron broke through to the general public as an actor and presenter, but quickly showed himself to be much more than that. As a singer, he effortlessly combines a modern pop sound with a pinch of nostalgia. His hits such as ‘Zonde’, ‘Egotrip’, and ‘Deurbel’ have grown into staples on the radio.
