Reading of and in the landscape | Lotenhulle - Poeke

In Lotenhulle-Poeke we look for contrasts in the landscape during a slow walk of five kilometers. We look at the agricultural landscape and the castle garden of Poeke, historically often a place of entertainment for noble families. This walk promises to be an interesting ‘reading’ of both the landscape and related literature from the 18th and 19th centuries. We reflect on musings by Rousseau and Flaubert. Ook Cyriel Buysse and Virginie Loveling have their say. Occasionally, we make the experience a bit lighter with funny anecdotes.
