Zussen Nora and Agnes are reunited with their absent father Gustav, once a renowned film director. He offers Nora, a theater actress, a role in the film that is to be his great comeback. Wanneer Nora rejects the role, she discovers that he has given her role to the young Hollywoodster Rachel Kemp.
The two sisters must face the difficult relationship with their father, and deal with an American star who has landed in the middle of their complex family relationships.
The film was awarded the Grand Prix at the last Filmfestival van Cannes, and that is not for nothing. Beautiful cinematography and top-level acting performances ensured that Vogue crowned the film as 'The Best Film Of The Year.'
