Tip Jar

Tip Jar seeks the boundaries of country music and the singer-songwriter genre, with music that actually cannot be put under one denominator but according to music magazine Oor ‘effortlessly measures up to that of great americana artists from all over the world.’ Tip Jar is the international collective of musical friends around Bart de Win (whom you might know as an accompanist for Gerard van Maasakkers, Iain Matthews of Birds of Chicago) and Arianne Knegt. The voices of Bart, Arianne and Harry Hendriks together form the characteristic Tip Jar-sound, which is recognizable from thousands. In Bree Arianne and Bart are reinforced by an extra musician. Tip Jars infectious americana and the love for American roots music already brought them to legendary stages such as Gruene Hall and Luckenbach and gave them a spot in the line-up of various festivals in Texas. Besides this, they also played on a regular basis in England.
