Borgerhout, cargo bikes and square football

In the very densely populated Borgerhout, one in three residents is under 18. Yet, there is only one square meter of open space per inhabitant in the part of this district within the Singel. It is therefore not surprising that the scarce green and open space is used particularly intensively. For example, on the eternally busy Turnhoutsebaan and in the small squares, where we experience ‘life in Borgerhout’.
