The outer edges of Merksplas - bicycle tour

Following an annual tradition, Marcblas visits several striking places in Merksplas. This year we are heading to the Witte Keiweg , where Herman Janssen , from the Baarlese Heemkring, will tell the history of this ancient site. Afterwards, author Leen Huet will take us through the story of the Van Schelle - Fowler family at De Diepte . Naturally, she will tell us more about the fate of their son Tie Van Schelle , who was executed by firing squad in Breendonk. We will conclude with a drink at " Het Belevingshuis De Landloper " at Wortel-Kolonie.
