All the good it would have done - Rutger Hoedemaekers

BELGIAN PREMIERE Rutger Hoedemaekers headed to Berlin after his studies at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. There, he converted a factory floor into a modular studio where a whole group of like-minded musicians such as Hildur Gudnadóttir and Dustin O’Halloran soon worked. Hoedemaekers worked intensively with Jóhann Jóhannsson for the soundtracks of Trapped, Mother!, and The Mercy. Afterward, he continued under his own name for, among others, The Last Berliner and No Man’s Land. His actual debut appeared in 2021: The Age of Oddities. The album with enormous sonic richness and emotional depth showed a brilliant new composer whose cinematic eloquence testified to experiences composing for film alongside Oscar winners Hildur Gudóttir and Jóhann Jóhannsson. Na Berlijn Hoedemaekers spent a few years in Brussels, a period in which he also came to work on our immersive Soundscape system. After a recent collaboration with Angelina Jolie, a new album is finally appearing in the spring of 2027: All the Good It Would Have Done.
