Sunday, October 18: Film Fest: Everytime, Sandra Wollner
Dit years we go to the Internationaal Filmfestival in the Kinepolis Gent, together we can enjoy the wonderful film Everytime, in which connectedness takes center stage.\n\nA gripping portrait of loss and connectedness\n\nYou are immersed in the daily life of a Berlin family about to leave for vacation. Tot Jessie sneaks away for another evening with her boyfriend Lux. Afterwards, the family seems to live in a different dimension, where the daily routine will never be the same again, yet continues. Small events take on a loaded meaning.\n\nThe impossible happens when the mother and Jessie’s youngest sister, Melli, invite Lux to come along to Tenerife. The vacation they couldn't take due to the tragic event. During this vacation, everyone tries to cope with the loss in their own way. The boundary between reality, memory, and imagination blurs.\n\nEverytime is a piercing and psychological film with plenty of room for personal interpretation. Winnaar van Un Certain Regard at Cannes.
