Autofiction (Amarga Navidad)

After her mother's death in December, advertising director Elsa throws herself into her work to process the loss. When a panic attack forces her to take a break, she decides to travel to Lanzarote with her friend Patricia. The story of these women runs parallel to that of a screenwriter and a cult filmmaker who is in a creative crisis, and explores how life and fiction are inextricably linked, sometimes in a painful way.
