Lasse Vonck is declared a prodigy and acclaimed by press and public as a young artist. Thirty years later, that is no longer the case. That people have forgotten him over the years, he finds a bearable fate, but he is lost; he is looking for a goal, meaning. On a lusterless spring day, Lasse is so alienated from himself upon waking that he no longer really knows who he is. He cannot even speak anymore. Confession is inspired by the timeless and matchless story De Gedaanteverwisseling van Franz Kafka. It sketches a portrait of man as silent protest.
