De Nederlandse Meau Hewitt followed a pop/rock education at the Herman Brood-academy and threw herself into writing Dutch-language music after graduating. The result is beautiful indie-pop with a touch of synths, warm sounds, dreamy choirs, and brutally honest lyrics. Meanwhile, everyone can scream every word of her monster hit Dat heb jij gedaan from debut 22. Liefde onderschat (also including the duet Het midden with Pommelien Thijs) builds on her familiar sound, but with a more mature and intimate perspective. In the songs, MEAU reflects on loss, trust, and the courage it takes to open yourself up completely. MEAU first played two sold-out concerts in De Roma in 2025, followed by a sold-out Lotto Arena and a sold-out tour through 19 theaters in the Netherlands. And now she is coming to CCHA! In this intimate theater show, the award-winning singer-songwriter brings her newest songs together with her well-known hits - personal songs in which love, vulnerability, and growth are central. In a warm atmosphere, MEAU takes the audience on a musical journey through the complexity of love relationships.
