Against the backdrop of an impending bankruptcy due to the arrival of a large book chain, a small independent bookstore offers a refuge to young people with a reading list, those lost in life and love, and a writer with writer’s block. Vitrine is a performance about steadfastness and comfort and about how the power of literature can be greater than you think. What if all our lives are being written right nòw? Vitrine is a location performance that plays in places where there is still a love for books, loaded with a brand-new theater text that does not shy away from the grand gesture.
