Zomerse Vrijdagen Zing and swing along to the Zomerse Vrijdagen from July to mid-September at the local catering establishments. For once, they are serving not only drinks but also free performances and ambiance that provide a wonderful holiday feeling in your own city. 31/07 – 4AD – C-RHYMS 21.00 HOURS | DUVVE 22.30 HOURS C-RHYMS is the artist name of Christopher-Rheims. He is known for his complex rhyme schemes and powerful, charismatic performance. Through jazz-inspired hip-hop, he brings his personal story, characterized by themes such as adoption, racism, and loneliness. After a strong release show at Wilde Westen and a more than deserved victory during the final of music competition Sound Track, we are happy to show you why C-RHYMS is an absolute rising star within the Belgian music scene. The 20-year-old rapper and producer DUVVE comes to nestle on our stage with his six-piece live band! He brings West Flemish hip-hop with jazz influences, writes and produces his music entirely himself, and is a creative jack-of-all-trades who is constantly seeking out experimentation. In 2023, he was in the preliminary rounds of music competition Sound Track, in 2024 he made it to the semi-final of Humo’s Rock Rally, and he was already allowed to perform at Jonge Wolven and Imagine Experience Belgium.
