In 2026, the iconic British band Fischer-Z will exist for exactly 50 years, and that will be celebrated with a special anniversary tour through Europe and the rest of the world. The legendary band around John Watts , which owes its name to a term from statistics, originated in the late 70s . With their unique mix of rock, new wave and (post)punk , they soon managed to conquer a place of their own in the international music landscape. Hits like ‘So Long’, ‘The Worker’ and ‘Marliese’ are etched into the collective memory. During these anniversary shows, Fischer-Z brings a best of-set , with songs from their rich and extensive discography – now good for more than 20 albums – supplemented with new work.
