Stefan Bracaval

Jazz flutist and composer Stefan Bracaval presents his new CD 'Zilt', a contemporary jazz project in which flute and bass flute play the leading role. The program brings original instrumental and vocal compositions that flow into each other. Bracaval moves smoothly between innovation and recognition: surprising rhythms and sequences merge with familiar jazz elements, always carried by a melodic, lyrical core. He is assisted by Jeroen Reggers (guitar), Hendrik Vanattenhoven (double bass), and Gert-Jan Dreessen (drums). Together they create a rich, dynamic soundscape, full of room for interaction and improvisation. Extra color comes from the young Brazilian-Belgian singer Helena Casella, who interprets several songs in Portuguese. Her voice adds a narrative, introspective tone and gives the program extra depth.
