In Edith et Moi is a singer who has lost her voice, paralyzed by a deeply silent trauma. However, she is not alone: a fiery Edith Piaf appears to bring her back to life. Together they form an unlikely duo on a journey full of vulnerability, humor, and survival strength. Through virtuoso puppetry, object theater, and singing, the singer confronts her demons. The performance explores the raw reality of abuse of power and the difficult path through legal systems that often re-traumatize survivors. It is a story about the tearing choice between silence and speaking, and how art can literally save a life. "With this performance, I transform pain and injustice into art that connects," says Yaël Rasooly. "It is the true story of how Edith Piaf saved me. After 15 years of working on a trilogy against violence against women and children, in this final chapter, I finally give the lead role to the most important journey: the one to healing."
