Bumblebee quest

Bumblebees are the fluffiest of our wild bees. You have surely seen them flying by with a gentle buzz, but how well do you really know them? Unknown is unloved, and nature guides Arne Creyf and Jasper Olivier would like to change that.  In and around the landscape park 'De Stationsput', they will tell you everything about the fascinating social life of bumblebees and their useful role in nature.  By the way, have you heard of long-tongued and short-tongued bees? Together, we will try to catch a bumblebee to take a good look at it and then release it again. And we will learn how to recognize species such as the common carder bee, tree bumblebee, or red-tailed bumblebee.  Who knows, we might even see a rarer species!  Be sure to sign up below; 25 participants can join.
