KIOSK CONCERTS
During the summer months, our beautiful kiosk settles once again on the Grote Markt. Just like in previous years, it is the setting for cozy aperitif concerts on Sundays. Enjoy fanfares, cover bands, and of course a fresh aperitif all summer long at 11 o'clock!
· 28.06 – Koninklijke Harmonie Burgerskring Diksmuide
De Koninklijke Harmonie Burgerskring from Diksmuide plays a very varied repertoire. Their music ranges from classic sing-alongs and light jazz to arrangements of pop and rock hits. In addition, their program also includes melodies from well-known musicals.
· 05.07 – Acoustic Vibes
Acoustic Vibes is a brand-new acoustic cover band with experienced musicians who have earned their stripes in many musical adventures. On piano, acoustic guitar, percussion, and with polyphonic vocals, they bring high-quality arrangements of well-known songs from various genres such as pop, rock, singer-songwriter, and timeless classics in an atmospheric and accessible acoustic jacket. Van The Beatles, the Eurythmics to Adéle and Danny Vera: varied, well-known, rock-solid songs plucked from the rich pop history from the 60s to now.
· 12.07 – Koninklijk Blaasorkest Willen is Kunnen Beerst
Laat let yourself be surprised by the powerful sounds and captivating melodies of the Koninklijk Blaasorkest Willen Is Kunnen from Beerst! During this atmospheric kiosk performance, these musicians bring a varied program full of musical highlights for young and old.
· 19.07 – Alique
Ondanks the fact that both are busy with different musical styles, father Rik and son Seppe decided to adventure into something together musically. Anyway! From that, the name of the ensemble was also born, said in French West-Flemish. It even came from "alique"... They found each other in the genre "French chanson" and "swing musette," which lends itself excellently to allowing the present metier of both members to come into its own. The virtuoso accordion playing of Seppe and the folk voice and guitar of father Rik provide you with a delicious cocktail of French atmospheric songs and sing-alongs.
· 26.07 – Madness Explosion
Madness Explosion is a cool rock band that makes every event explode with atmosphere! Expect recognizable rock covers, buckets of energy, and non-stop ambiance. With their strong live sound and cool interaction with the audience, they drag everyone along from the first note to the last encore.
· 02.08 – Freundshafts Blaskapelle
Deze cheerful brass band blows you awake with solid brass sounds, cozy melodies, and a touch of German atmosphere.

4Fun provides top-notch ambiance! With recognizable covers, infectious rhythms, and buckets of energy, they bring atmosphere for all ages.

· 16.08 – Oedyzer
Deze ten-piece band brings live music with an infectious mix of passion, energy, and playing pleasure! Expect a 'full, powerful sound with big band allure'. From a tight rhythm section that immediately sucks you in, an impressive brass section to atmospheric accordions that provide a unique twist.
· 23.08 – Royal Music Society Hoger Op Woumen
Geniet of an atmospheric kiosk concert with Muziekmaatschappij Hoger Op Woumen! With a varied musical program, brought by driven musicians, they ensure a cozy and relaxed musical morning.
· 30.08 – Koninklijke Fanfare St.-Cecilia Vladslo
Kom enjoy an atmospheric kiosk concert with the Koninklijke Fanfare Sint-Cecilia Vladslo! This proud fanfare brings a varied and accessible program, full of musical charm and craftsmanship. Let yourself be carried away by recognizable melodies and experience a cozy musical meeting in the open air together. Music, connection, and ambiance are central.
Extra performances at the kiosk
21/08 – Het Veerse Scheeptuig (NL) Shanty songs (3 PM)
Shanty choir “Het Veerse Scheepstuig” has its home base in the Zeeland port town of Veere. The choir consists of 43 singers and is accompanied by a 5-piece music combo: violin, guitar, banjo, accordion, and double bass. With their sailor and fisherman songs, they try to involve the audience as much as possible and let them sing along.
