From May to September, we head into nature and heritage with the Uit Stappen. For five Sundays, you can enjoy beautiful walks, fascinating stories, and a touch of beer culture in Dilbeek. Want Dilbeek has a rich beer tradition – from hop fields to artisanal brewers, from vanished pubs to contemporary breweries where craftsmanship is still very much alive. Our guides will take you to places you would otherwise just walk past, tell anecdotes you won't hear elsewhere, and let you experience Dilbeek with all your senses. During this July walk, you will discover the wild hops of the Wolfsputten , walk past places where cafes once colored village life, and pass the legendary 'television cafe' Hof Ter Smissen. We will visit Brouwerij Angerik , a microbrewery that wins international awards. Naturally, a tasting is included — fresh, local, and brewed with love. We end the tour in a real 'brown cafe' (traditional pub): the cozy Waaike.
