Visit to the new mosque of Waasmunster

We start outside with a short introduction about the location of the mosque and the history of the Arruhama association. Then we take you inside for a tour of the building, with a visit to the prayer room as the highlight. There, you will receive a clear explanation about the rituals and symbolism that are central to mosque life. Of course, there is plenty of room to ask questions. We conclude nicely with a drink and a snack. In good weather, we will enjoy the rest of the time outside together. During the visit, the following themes will be discussed, among others: The prayer direction and prayer times, the five pillars of Islam, the recognition of Islam in Belgium, the Mimbar and the Mihrab, the fasting month of Ramadan and the Ramadan festival, the Feast of Sacrifice.
