Gérard Spencer: Handpan Discovery Workshop

What if you discovered an instrument capable of making music from the very first minutes? The handpan is an instrument as fascinating to watch as it is to play. Thanks to its intuitive approach, no musical knowledge is necessary: everyone receives their own handpan and learns, step by step, to create their first melodies. For three hours, you will be guided in an experience that is at once musical, fun, and relaxing. We will alternate exercises, rhythmic games, improvisations, and moments of sharing, in a friendly atmosphere and in a small group. A moment outside of time, where you forget the daily grind to simply listen, create, and let yourself be carried by the vibrations of the instrument. Practical information - Handpans are provided to all participants. - No musical prerequisites are necessary. - Possibility to rent or buy a handpan at the end of the workshop.
