Poetry evening & open stage

During this special evening, poet and former Cultureel Ambassadeur van Roeselare, Lise Surmont, reads from her poetry collection We are swans. Lise has been writing since her youth and has collected a rich collection of poems over the years, born from wonder, stillness, and an attentive eye for the small and the human. In her work, she seeks connection between opposites, light and dark, earth and heaven, softness and strength. In addition to the reading, there is also room for an open stage. Anyone who would like to share a poem, text, piece of music, or their own words is very welcome in a warm and safe atmosphere.
