Manila walk

Gids Jean-Pierre takes you to the Manila neighborhood in Ghent: a neighborhood where there is nothing to see, but the streets refer to the past and speak to the imagination. Tussen de Brugse Steenweg and the Groendreef you walk past disappeared sites of the textile industry. Little by little, through stories of workers, you discover what the working and living conditions were like in these factories.
