Centraal Infopunt Erfgoeddag Brugge - In de Nieuwe Pastorie, Bruges
€2–12
Het Koningin Astridpark (the city park) is not only a pleasant park to spend time in, it is well worth a walk on Sunday morning. The site was laid out in English landscape style by Egidius Rosseel and possesses a very rich tree collection. After a visit to the park and its interesting (tree) history, it goes to the Boninvest not far from there. You walk from the park across the Conzett bridge along the canal side to the Gentpoort and then return to the park via the Willemijnendreef and the Magdalenakerk. It will be a fascinating walk in which nature and city guide Jan Casier tells you all about greenery, culture, and history. Guides: Jan Casier
