Long-distance walk between marsh and heath

Put on your hiking boots and discover seven beautiful nature reserves in Central Limburg together with guide Thomas Eerdekens during a group walk of approximately 20 to 25 kilometers. This varied line walk takes you through a unique landscape of blooming heath, vast meadows, mysterious swamp forests, and winding streams. Along the way, Thomas tells fascinating facts about nature and the rich history of the region, which makes you learn to look at the surroundings with different eyes. We walk in a cozy group of a maximum of 15 participants, so there is enough space to enjoy nature and ask questions. The trip ends at the reindeer hunters of the Holsteen, where we raise a glass together to a successful day full of nature experience. The walk is intended for experienced hikers, as the distance is approximately 25 kilometers. Hiking experience is therefore certainly recommended. We depart at 9:00 AM from the parking tegenover Café Vini's, Stationsstraat 120, 3530 Houthalen-Helchteren. Arrival is scheduled between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Afterwards, we will ensure that you are safely brought back to the starting point if necessary.
