Concert “Fratello Francesco”

On October 4, 2026, on the occasion of the 800th anniversary of the death of Franciscus van Assisi (Assisi 1181 – October 3, 1226), the Amarylliskoor Alken will organize a grandly staged concert where music and word will honor and commemorate the life and work of Sint Franciscus. Francis attached great value to simplicity and service. He found the development of the individual and their personal gifts and talents very important. At the same time, he attached great value to nature, which he found a beautiful representation of how the Creator wants to care for humanity. In these turbulent times, it is worth looking back at the life and vision of Francis.
