Letterketjes

Has your child started reading? Do they sometimes have some difficulties with reading or do they want to practice reading a bit more outside of school hours? Then Letterketjes is something for them! For 30 minutes, we choose a book together with your child, and we read together. Completely relaxed, at your child's pace, to promote the joy of reading. At the end, we talk a bit about what we just read. This project takes place every 2 weeks on Thursday afternoon, from 3:45 PM to 5:15 PM (except during school holidays). It is intended for children who are in the first, second, or third grade (in the spring), and for children who are in the second or third grade (in the autumn). You register your (grand)child(ren) for 30 minutes via our website. The time slots are from 3:45 PM-4:15 PM, 4:15 PM-4:45 PM, and 4:45 PM-5:15 PM. Per time slot, there are multiple places available. You can find all upcoming Letterketjes activities here. Reading together is completely free, but registration is mandatory. There are always 3 places provided for an online registration. Do you want to register at the counter on the day of registration? That is possible! There are always 1 to 2 places kept free there. Attention: the places are always gone very quickly, so keep this in mind. REGISTRATION DATES: For September & October: register from Tuesday, September 8, 5 PM. For November & December: register from Tuesday, October 27, 5 PM. For January 2027: register from Tuesday, December 1, 2026, 5 PM.
