In a laboratory on Long Island, dogs are exposed to radioactive radiation. When one dog escapes and mutates, a series of scenes unfolds, connecting seemingly unrelated characters: a Norwegian scientist and his wife, a caretaker who buries the dogs, a young art photographer, and the goddess of vengeance, Athena.
