BÀÀN BÀÀN is the Brussels instrumental duo around Pascal N. Paulus (Melanie De Biasio, Kris Dane) and Jean-Philippe De Gheest (Mark Lanegan, Lyenn, Creature with the atom brain). After debut bààn (2018) and RESET (2020), Shadowboxing appeared in 2022 at W.E.R.F. After a few (digital) club sets, a full-fledged new album will appear this autumn. BÀÀN weaves ambient, psychedelic music, krautrock, synthwave, jazz, and rock into an intoxicating musical blanket that gently envelops you and slowly carries you off to another universe. The power of BÀÀN lies (certainly live) in their extended compositions in which they take the time to build tension and take you as a listener to unexpected places. Craven Faults Craven Faults is the name of a mysterious electronic producer from Yorkshire. He became known for his pulsating soundscapes that bring together elements from ambient, minimal, krautrock, and analog synth-driven experimentalism. Titles and artwork always refer to nature and the post-industrial landscapes of Yorkshire. After a few EPs, debut Erratics & unconformities (2019), and albums Standers (2023) and Bounds (2025), the most recent Sidings is a new station on his journey through Northern England. Recently, Craven Faults was allowed to remix a song by The Cure and he stood as support for Mogwai in a sold-out Royal Albert Hall. Armed with an arsenal of instruments, computers, sequencers, and home studio equipment and with a great love for post-war Berlin krautrock, the Brit makes impressive sound experiences.
