Root drought, not-so-fine dust, aggressive-invasive species, rising moss costs, pesticides, exploding nature tourism… The forest is boiling over! Blue tits only eat chips, beavers build a dam out of plastic bottles, and some squirrels shoot around like unguided missiles, fighting over a half-empty Capri Sun. Willie Wonders climate show tries to bring hope in these difficult times. The animals and plants sing and dance themselves into a sweat, but when even their own show is threatened by an outside threat, the animals fall out of their roles. The musical sputters, the children's drawings growl back, the stuffed animals bite back. BOS (FOREST) is a forceful tragicomic theater performance on location. A search for a bright spot in the climate story. How can you tell something enriching about a theme that leaves no one untouched with a bunch of animals with a twist, a load of absurd humor, and lots of playfulness?
